Widgets

Weather, Clock, Calendar, Notes, and Markets.

Rearranging Widgets

  • Drag any widget by its card and drop it over another widget to reorder the bar.
  • Widgets in between slide out of the way as you drag, showing exactly where it will land.
  • Release to drop - the new order is saved automatically.

On Mobile

  • Touch devices require a press and hold first - hold a widget for 1.5 seconds (shown by a countdown spinner) before it becomes draggable.
  • Once the hold completes, drag the widget just like on desktop to reorder the bar.
  • The widget bar runs across the top of the dashboard. Click any widget to open its full dialog.
  • Drag widgets left or right to reorder them.
  • Click the × on a widget to hide it. Use the + button that appears to restore a hidden widget.
  • Widget bar visibility can be toggled per device from Settings.

Weather

  • Shows current temperature, conditions, and city, plus feels-like, wind, humidity, visibility, and a 5-day forecast. Requires a free OpenWeatherMap API key.
  • The city search field auto-completes once an API key is saved.
  • Configure the auto-refresh interval (15 min to 4 hours).
  • Open the widget → Settings tab → enter your city and API key, then save.
  • If a refresh fails, the widget keeps showing the last cached data with a warning banner and a Retry button, instead of going blank.
  • Use Reset Weather in Settings to clear the saved API key, city, and cached data.

Clock

  • Displays live times for multiple cities simultaneously, each with a day/night indicator, the local date, and its UTC offset.
  • A city more than a calendar day ahead or behind shows a badge like +1d or -1d.
  • Open the widget to add, rename, remove, or reorder city clocks.
  • Drag clock entries up or down to reorder them.
  • Use the Show on widgets bar stepper in Settings to control how many of your clocks appear in the compact bar view - the full list always shows when you open the widget.

Calendar

  • Shows the current week at a glance - today is highlighted.
  • Open the widget to browse full months and navigate forward or backward.
  • Click the month label to jump straight back to the current month.

Notes

  • A quick-access, single scratchpad - the widget preview shows the first few lines.
  • Open the widget to edit it in a larger plain-text view. This is a separate, simpler scratchpad from the block-based Note Editor used for notes inside link panels - there's no formatting, checkboxes, or filtering here, just one continuous note.
  • Notes are saved to your account and available on all devices.

Markets

  • A live scrolling ticker for stocks and ETFs. Requires a free Finnhub API key.
  • Open the widget → Settings tab → enter your API key and build a watchlist by searching for a ticker symbol or company name.
  • Drag watchlist entries to reorder them. Configure the auto-refresh interval.
  • Price changes are color-coded: green for up, red for down.
  • Use Reset Markets in Settings to clear the saved API key, watchlist, and cached data.
