Link panels
Your bookmarks, organized by how you think – not when you saved them.
Browser bookmarks are organized by the order you added them. Linktanium panels group links by context – project, client, category, tool set. You build the hierarchy; the dashboard reflects it.
Each panel lives inside a named tab. One click switches your entire workspace – the panels, the layout, the context. Nothing bleeds between tabs unless you move it yourself.
- Unlimited panels per tab
- Inline rename and recolor
- Drag to reorder within and between panels
- Collapsible panels for a cleaner view
- Right-click context menu on every link
Live widgets
Live context, without opening a second tab.
Every widget is a small live window: weather from your city, stock and index tickers updating in real time, a persistent notes scratchpad that auto-saves, and a clock in analog or digital mode.
Widgets are floating – not embedded in the panel grid. Drag them anywhere on screen, resize to any dimension, set a custom opacity so they never obscure the links behind them.
- Weather – auto-detect or manual city
- Live stock and index tickers
- Notes scratchpad with automatic save
- Analog and digital clock
- Month calendar view
- Custom opacity and size per widget
Pinnable dialogs
Every panel can become a floating window. None of them have to stay put.
Open any link panel as a detached floating dialog – pulled out of the grid and placed anywhere on screen. Resize it, set an opacity level, and pin it. The next time you open a new tab, it's exactly where you left it.
Floating persistent windows that remember their position, size, and transparency – not a novelty feature, but the feature that power users build their whole workflow around.
- Any panel → detachable floating window
- Drag and resize freely on screen
- Custom opacity per floating dialog
- Pinned position and size persist across sessions
- Stack multiple dialogs simultaneously

From the people using it
What happens when the
new-tab page actually works.
I had 340 bookmarks across Chrome, Firefox, and Safari after five years of development work. I moved everything into Linktanium on a Sunday afternoon. On Monday morning my new-tab page actually made sense for the first time in years.
The pinnable widget system is the thing every other tab page has failed to build well. Having my stock ticker and a persistent notes pad on every new tab has cut the number of apps I need open in half.
I used to have twelve browser windows open just to keep "work" separate from "personal." Now it's two tabs on the same new-tab page. Switching context takes one click instead of a mental reset.
I switch between my laptop and my desktop probably six times a day. Every panel, every pinned dialog, every widget position – it's just there on both machines. I stopped thinking about it within a week.
I pinned my notes widget at 40% opacity right over my browser toolbar. It sounds small, but not having to alt-tab just to jot something down has probably saved me an hour a week.
Setup took maybe ten minutes – drag in my usual sites, group them into panels, done. I've tried four other new-tab extensions and this is the first one that didn't feel like extra work to maintain.
